Agapanthus

Agapanthus, commonly known as African Lily or Lily of the Nile, are sun loving perennials native to South Africa, prized for their large, spherical flower heads. These "love flowers" (from the Greek agape and anthos) produce striking trumpet-shaped blooms in shades of blue, purple, and white atop tall, sturdy stems. 

In 2025 we introduced Agapanthus Zambezi to the UK at RHS Chelsea Flower show, with striking variegated foliage and lilac blue flowers.
