Collection: Climbers

Climbing plants, or climbers, are versatile plants with trailing stems that use various methods (tendrils, clinging air roots or twining shoots) to grow upwards on supports, walls and fences, adding vertical interest in gardens. They are also a good source of food and shelter for wildlife. Popular examples include Clematis, Lonicera (honeysuckle)  and Passion flower, with varieties suitable for different soil and growing conditions. They can be grown in containers or borders. They can have vibrant flowers which are often scented and lush foliage.
