Ferns are ancient flowerless plants known for their lush foliage, reproducing via spores rather than seeds, and thrive in shady, moist conditions but vary widely in habitat needs, offering diverse textures, shapes, and colours (green, silver, bronze) for gardens, adding woodland charm or tropical flair, and are generally low-maintenance, though some are evergreen while others are deciduous.
